ENEA together with METROFOOD-IT and the Academy of Sciences inaugurates the third edition of the Carlotta Award 2025. The award, inspired by the figure of Carlotta Parisani Strampelli, wife and collaborator of the great Italian geneticist Nazzareno Strampelli, aims to give due recognition to the female role in the field of research, sending a positive message to young researchers dedicated to the genetic improvement of wheat and other cereals.
Food quality, safety, and nutrition are central elements in building sustainable food systems that ensure access to safe, nutritious, and high-quality food for all while reducing environmental impact.
The METROFOOD-IT research infrastructure, in collaboration with Sapienza University of Rome and ENEA, and with the support of the Municipality of San Gemini (Terni), is organizing its first Summer School dedicated to companies in the agrifood supply chain.
